If that were possible, I could even use the 2i2 audio interface instead of the mixer to maybe keep things simple.

I'm kind of a noob and not really familiar with other software options that might allow me to apply a delay, or if I can get the Behringer USB feed into the Blackmagic software some other way. Nor can I use the new delay feature in the Blackmagic software since I'm bypassing the ATEM Mini. Since I'm using this for Zoom, etc., I can't apply delay with something like OBS. I'm happy to use the USB from the Mixer to the computer but there's still that need to delay audio to sync with my video form the ATEM.

However, there is a background noise (sizzling, electronics noise - pulses almost in time with data lights on my ethernet connection.maybe) in the background that is NOT there when I send audio to directly to the MacBook Pro via the supplied USB connection. The Mixer successfully sends audio to Input 2 of the ATEM Mini (set to Line). I purchased both an audio interface (Focusrite 2i2) and USB mixer (Behringer Q802USB). My question: Has anybody used an XLR Condenser mic to an audio interface or an audio mixer and been able to send good audio to one of the 1/8" inputs on the back of the ATEM Mini? Thanks for the help!

I would love to use the camera's audio input but the SL2 does not pass audio over HDMI. I could send audio directly into my MacBook Pro via USB-C from the audio interface, but I'd lose the ability to delay audio. I am concerned as to whether I can connect the audio interface to my ATEM Mini via one of the mic inputs. I have an Audio Technica AT2035 XLR and a Focusrite i2i Gen 3 audio interface coming. No problem there, once I've accounted for video latency, but I want to use a better mic. I've been using a lav mic directly into Mic 1 of the ATEM Mini. The ATEM Mini is connected to my MacBook Pro. My primary camera is a Canon Rebel SL2 DSLR connected to HDMI Input 1 on the ATEM Mini. I use the following simple setup into my MacBook Pro:

I included them to give a full range of options though.I am using an ATEM Mini as I adapt some critical training to an online platform, primarily using Zoom. Unless you’re on a serious budget, I would probably try to avoid these first two (just get a USB mic instead). Best Mixers For Solo Or 2-Person Podcasts
